IT Security Analyst – Kansas City, MO (Nationwide)

Computer Security Consulting, Inc (CSCI) considers the Security Analyst as a Key person of the team. The Security Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development of a cohesive and productive team working under the Federal Security Director. Some of the Security Analyst activities include the following:

• Knowledge of information security technologies;
• Knowledge of security policy and process development;
• Networking skills to aid in secure network connections;
• Knowledge of audit processes and policy enforcement;
• Analytical and problem solving skills;
• Proficient knowledge of company business processes and systems;
• Planning skills to address security requirements and impact strategic planning;
• Understanding of project management skills;
• Advanced teaming facilitation skills; and
• Advanced interpersonal and oral, written communication skills to communicate to all levels of ISD and clients.

The individual must have 2+ years experience providing the experience outlined above, Associates or Bachelors Degree, be able to obtain a minimum of a Secret clearance and MUST have (1) SSCP/ CISA, other certifications are a plus (MCSE 2K3, AIX, Storage, CCNA…). MUST BE A US CITIZEN!
